Generation Rules
These rules tell Claude how to write your resumes and cover letters. Think of them as instructions for a personal assistant who's tailoring your documents for each job.
Not sure what to put here?
These rules control the quality and accuracy of your generated documents. Here are some examples:
Accuracy: "Never fabricate achievements, certifications, or skills I don't have"
Tone: "Write in a confident but not arrogant tone"
Age-neutral: "Say '20+ years experience' instead of exact numbers above 20"
Interview-proof: "Every claim must be something I can defend in a 30-minute interview"
Title accuracy: "Use the EXACT job title from the posting, don't paraphrase it"
Quantify: "Include numbers and metrics wherever possible (revenue, team size, budget)"
Cover letter voice: "Position me as a strategic partner, not a job seeker"
Role accuracy: "My role at [Company] was supporting, not leadership — don't overstate it"
